How to Remove Write Protection from the USB storage device 

What is Write Protection:

In the USB storage device, the write protection is stopped to modify or delete any file from this device. So the USB device has to limitation from his normal work. You can't normally formate this write protector storage device.

Steps to Remove Write Protection:-

No matter using Windows 7/8/10, If you simply follow these steps successfully remove the Write Protection.

1. Press Windows key + R key simultaneously from the keyboard to open run option.

  In-text typing area type Regedit and press enter.

2.  After entering Registry Editor will open 

    

3. After Open Registry Editor click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE →System→CurrentControlSet→Control   then search StorageDevicePolicies

If there are not present StorageDevicePolicy then right-click on Control then mouse hover to New then select QWORD(64bit) Value, and name it to  StorageDevicePolicy.

4. After creating StorageDevicePolicy right-click on it and select Modify option and place value data to 1  then press ok That's it.

In this above process, you successfully formate your right protected flash drive.
